Kaplan Petah-Tiqva Rd. Interchange

In this project, the Tel-Aviv Petah-Tikva Rd. was lowered to have it underpass Kaplan Sreet. Six lowered lanes were built in the north-south axis (three on each direction), and a bridge was built in the east-west axis. Excess water was drained through a drainage tunnel, directly to the Ayalon stream.

The project was managed and supervised by Eldad Spivak Ltd. for the Ayalon Highways Company. Two different contractors worked on it simultaneously for two years, and all it all the project lasted approximately 4 years.

Project scope: approximately NIS 100 million ($30 million) in the years 2000-2003.
